But their existing website no longer reflected the approachable character that had made them so successful, nor did it properly showcase the full scope of their residential and commercial electrical work.

The Brief

Translate a decade of trusted, personable service into a digital experience that works as hard as the Penguin Electrical team does. The new site needed to help homeowners and commercial clients immediately understand the breadth of services on offer, feel confidence in the team’s qualifications and experience, and connect with the business easily whether it’s for a routine maintenance booking or a late-night emergency callout. All of this had to be wrapped in a clean, credible design.

Our Approach

We began where every OKMG project does: with deep discovery. OKMG mapped out the distinct needs of Penguin Electrical’s two key audiences: residential clients after everyday electrical reliability, and commercial operators requiring complex installations and ongoing compliance. 

We then defined service categories that let visitors move intuitively between residential and commercial streams, and we stripped back every contact pathway to its simplest form. A prominent, ever-present phone link and streamlined quote request forms now mean that no one has to hunt for a way to get in touch.

Visually, the new site pairs contemporary design with effortless navigation. Clear calls-to-action are woven throughout every page, gently guiding users toward a quote request or a direct phone call. On the homepage, authentic testimonials from past clients sit front and centre, giving first-time visitors immediate social proof and a sense of the friendly, reliable service that defines Penguin Electrical. Behind the scenes, we built the site on a robust, mobile-responsive platform, baked in SEO best practices, and handed over a content management system that lets Penguin Electrical’s team easily update services, add fresh testimonials, and keep the site growing alongside the business.
